FHSAA Announces Partnership with Wanamaker Corporation

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) announced a multi-year partnership Wednesday with Wanamaker Corporation, creator of the FHSAA Golf app and iWanamaker golf event management software. Beginning this fall, the FHSAA Golf App powered by iWanamaker will be the official event management software for all FHSAA golf contests. Designed specifically for high school golf, this free app provides FHSAA member schools a new centralized home for event management, player rosters, live scoring and rankings.

Through its proven Golf Tournament Management Platform (iWanamaker and associated native apps), the platform will also provide athletic directors, coaches and student-athletes free access to schedules, live leaderboards, player scorecards, rankings and more.  Spectators must purchase a ticket to access content and a portion of the ticket revenue is shared with the FHSAA and its member schools.

“We are excited to be in a partnership with Wanamaker Corporation,” FHSAA Executive Director George Tomyn said. “This will ensure fans, parents, student-athletes and school officials receive real-time results as they support the best high school student-athletes in America during regular and postseason events.”

Wanamaker Corporation, the pioneer of online secure scoring for high school golf, has long served multiple high school state associations.  The FHSAA joins thousands of schools, leagues, and governing bodies already using Wanamaker Corp technologies to streamline golf tournament setup, player registration, secure scoring, rankings, and data management.

"We are excited to partner with the FHSAA to bring online secure scoring, accurate golfer rankings and increased scoring integrity to all members of the Florida high school golf community,” Wanamaker Corporation CEO Doyle Heisler said. “Florida has so much passion for golf, and together with the FHSAA, we are excited to help increase awareness and grow the sport across the state."
