Florida High School Swimming & Diving State Championships To Remain In Stuart Until 2020

GAINESVILLE, FL (3/21/18) – The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and the Treasure Coast Sports Commission have entered into a three-year agreement to keep the Florida High School Swimming and Diving State Championships at the Sailfish Splash Waterpark and Aquatics Center in Stuart. The event has been held there since 2013.

“We are excited to return to a venue that provides so many swimmers and divers a great student-athlete experience,” FHSAA Executive Director George Tomyn said. “The last five years in Stuart have been great for our swimming and diving state championships, and there is no doubt that the next three years will be even better.”

The format of the event will still include two weekends per year with one classification competing per day. Preliminaries will begin in the morning with the finals taking place each evening.

The 2018 Florida High School Swimming and Diving State Championships take place Nov. 9-10 and Nov. 16-17. Beginning this fall, fans can purchase $9 tickets in advance via the GoFan mobile app or by clicking the GoFan link at FHSAA.org. General admission tickets will cost $12 at the gate.

The 2019 event will take place Nov. 8-9 and Nov. 15-16, while the 2020 event will occur Nov. 6-7 and Nov. 13-14.
