Lake Mary, St. Thomas, Fort Myers, Am. Heritage (Plantation), Bolles, Lincoln Park, P.K. Yonge, Circle Christian, and Lake Worth Christian lead FHSAA Floyd E. Lay Sunshine Cup all-sports award standings

GAINESVILLE – Lake Mary, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale), Fort Myers, American Heritage (Plantation), Bolles (Jacksonville), Lincoln Park (Fort Pierce), Circle Christian (Winter Park),  P.K. Yonge (Gainesville), Lake Worth Christian (Boynton Beach), and Sneads/Trenton lead their respective categories following fall sports competition in the 2015-16 FHSAA Floyd E. Lay Sunshine Cup All-Sports Awards Point Standings.



Lake Mary, with 51 points, holds a 3.2-point lead over second-place Riverview. St. Thomas Aquinas totaled 83 points for a 22-point lead in Class 7A over Plant (Tampa), which finished the fall with 61 points. Fort Myers is tops in Class 6A with 47 points leading Gainesville, which finished the fall with 43 points. American Heritage, with 66.8 points, is out in front of second-place Bishop Moore (Orlando), which had a fall total of 57.8. Bolles, with 109 points leads Class 4A private schools, 43 points better than second-place Pine Crest (Fort Lauderdale) with 66.  Lincoln Park, 24 points, holds a very slim lead over Washington (Miami), 23.8 points in the Class 4A public school category. In Class 3A private schools, Circle Christian, with 76 points, boasts a lead over Lake Mary Prep, which has 48.  Thanks to another girls volleyball state championship, P.K. Yonge leads the Class 3A/2A public school category with 30 points, which is 25 points better than Marathon. Also with a girls volleyball state title, Lake Worth Christian has 24 points and a 6 point lead over Boca Raton Christian, whiich has 18 points. 

Additionally, Sneads and Trenton are tied in the Class 1A category with 24 points after Sneads brought home a girls volleyball state championship and Trenton took home a football state championship.
