Mandarin's (Jacksonville) magical run to their first state championship game appearance culminated with a 37-35 victory over Columbus (Miami), claiming the school's first ever football state title in the 2018 Class 8A Championship Game held in Orlando.

Central Florida Christian (Orlando) claimed the school's first boys basketball title in a 72-67 hard-fought victory over North Florida Educational (Jacksonville) in the 2019 Class 2A Boys Basketball State Championship Game.

Competition from the 2019 Florida High School Class 1A State Tennis Championships in Altamonte Springs. St. Andrew's (Boca Raton) claimed both the boys and girls team championships.

South Dade (Homestead) claimed the their second consecutive Class 3A Wrestling Duals State Championship at the 2019 event in Kissimmee.

Competition at the 2019 Track & Field State Championships from UNF's Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville. In Class 1A, Evangelical Christian (Fort Myers) claimed the team title for the girls and First Academy (Orlando) took the top spot for the boys.

In what has become an annual match-up at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Miami Northwestern claimed their sixth football State Championship by blanking perennial power Armwood (Seffner) 22-0 in the 2018 Class 6A title game.

Ponte Vedra went back to back, using a strong second round performance to outpace the competition en route to the Class 2A Boys Golf State Championships at Mission Inn & Resort & Club.

By a score of 3-1, Lakeland Christian knocked off three-time defending Class 3A champ Canterbury (Fort Myers) in 2019 to claim the school's first ever baseball state championship.

Williston claimed their fourth school baseball title with a 4-2 win over Chiefland in the 2019 Class 1A Florida High School Baseball State Championships .

The Master's Academy (Oviedo) took home the Class 1A Small Varsity title during the 2019 Competitive Cheer State Championships held in Gainesville.
