Winter Park pulled away from defending champion Gulf Coast (Naples) late to claim its first ever team title at the 2018 Class 3A Boys Golf State Championships from the Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howie-in-the-Hills.

Palmer Trinity (Palmetto Bay) defended its throne, going back to back by clinching the school's second straight boys soccer title over Shorecrest Prep (St. Petersburg) at the 2019 Class 1A Boys Soccer State Championships.

Mount Dora Christian goes back to back by claiming the 2018 Class 1A Boys Cross Country State Championship at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee. Gabriel Curtis was the top individual finisher, leading his team to the title.

Sunlake won the 2019 Girls Weightlifting 2A State Championship over runner-up Vero Beach, claiming their first weightlifting state title in school history.

Westminster Academy (Fort Lauderdale) continued its dominance with their third consecutive boys basketball title, a 77-73 victory over Seffner Christian in the 2019 Class 4A state championship.

Perennial power Miami Country Day claimed its sixth consecutive Girls Basketball State Championship with the 2019 version a 62-30 victory over Carrollwood (Tampa) in Class 4A.

NSU University School (Fort Lauderdale) outpaced Andrew Jackson (Jacksonville) 72-46 en route to the 2019 Class 5A State Championship during the event held at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland.

Lake Highland Prep (Orlando) claimed their second consecutive Class 1A Wrestling Duals State Championship at the 2019 event held in Kissimmee.

Bolles (Jacksonville) edged out the defending champs en route to the 2018 Class 2A Girls Cross Country State Championship at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee. Tsion Yared of Pine Crest (Fort Lauderdale) took the top overall individual spot.

In a rematch of 2018, Oxbridge Academy (West Palm Beach) again defeated Lake Highland Prep (Orlando) 71-65 in 2019 to capture the school's second consecutive Girls Basketball State Championship and the top spot in Class 5A.
