Miami Christian claimed a third title in four years with a 59-46 hard-fought victory over Impact Christian (Jacksonville) in the 2018 Class 2A Boys Basketball State Championship Game.

Blanche Ely (Pompano Beach) captured its third title in four years after defeating Creekside (Jacksonville) 77-54 in the 2018 Class 8A Boys Basketball State Championship Game.

Lake Mary took the top spot for the fourth consecutive year, claiming its seventh overall team title, at the 2018 Class 3A Girls Golf State Championships taking place at Mission Inn Resort & Club.

Madison County (Madison) was able to pull away from Baker early, en route to winning 48-6 and claiming the school's second consecutive Class 1A State Championship during the 2018 event at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

Lake Gibson (Lakeland) claimed the inaugural Class 2A Wrestling Duals State Championship at the event in Kissimmee.

For the third consecutive year, Navarre claimed the Girls Weightlifting 2A State Championship, giving them five team titles in the last six years. The 2018 event was held at Arnold High School in Panama City Beach.

After a runner-up finish in 2017, Coral Springs Charter claimed the school's first girls bowling state championship in 2018 by outlasting Circle Christian (Orlando).

Alonso (Tampa) defeated perennial favorite Seminole Ridge (Loxahatchee) 19-7 in the class 2A final to claim its first ever Flag Football State Championship.

Shorecrest Prep (St. Petersburg) defeated Benjamin (Palm Beach Gardens) in straight sets, claiming their first title, in just the school's second title game appearance in history, during the 2018 Class 4A Girls Volleyball State Championships held in Fort Myers.
