St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park) made it seven titles in a row with a 6-0 win over Miami Country Day at the 2018 Girls Soccer Class 1A State Championships held at Spec Martin Stadium in DeLand.

Admiral Farragut (St. Petersburg) defeated Cornerston Charter (Orlando) 8-6 in the 2018 Class 3A title game to claim the school's first ever softball state championship

Competition at the 2018 Track & Field State Championships from UNF's Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville. In Class 1A, Oak Hall (Gainesville) claimed the team title for the girls and First Academy (Orlando) took the top spot for the boys.

In a game that came down to penalty kicks, Merritt Island clinched its third state title thanks to a 2-2 (PK, 3-1) thrilling victory over Gulf Breeze at the 2018 Class 3A Girls Soccer State Championships.

In a rematch of the previous year, Robinson (Tampa) once again defeated Miami Edison to claim their fourth state title in flag football. The 2018 Class 1A Championship Game was held at Boca Raton High School.

Canterbury (Fort Myers) made it three in a row in 2018, as they claimed another baseball state championship, this time by shutting down John Carroll (Fort Pierce) 4-3.

Competition from the 2018 Florida High School Class 4A Tennis State Championships in Altamonte Springs. Miami Palmetto claimed both the boys and girls team championships.

In a rematch of 2016, Champagnat (Hialeah) avenged a championship game loss to University Christian (Jacksonville), 24-7 to claim the 2017 2A State Championship at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
