Madison County (Madison) was able to pull away from Baker early, en route to winning 48-6 and claiming the school's second consecutive Class 1A State Championship during the 2018 event at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

NSU University School (Fort Lauderdale) outpaced Andrew Jackson (Jacksonville) 72-46 en route to the 2019 Class 5A State Championship during the event held at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland.

In their first title game appearance, Divine Savior (Doral) defeated Bishop McLaughlin (Spring Hill) in straight sets to claim the 2018 Class 3A Girls Volleyball State Championship. The event was held at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers.

After back to back runner-up finishes, Geneva (Winter Park) was finally able to break through and claim its first state title. They out-dueled Harvest Community (Jacksonville) in the 2018 2A Girls Volleyball State Championship game that was held in Fort Myers.

St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park) made it eight titles in a row with a 1-0 win over Lakeland Christian at the 2019 Girls Soccer Class 1A State Championships held at Spec Martin Stadium in DeLand.

Tampa Bay Tech defeated St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale) 58-52 to claim the 2019 Class 8A Girls Basketball State Championship, the school's first title in the sport.

Shorecrest Prep (St. Petersburg) defeated Benjamin (Palm Beach Gardens) in straight sets, claiming their first title, in just the school's second title game appearance in history, during the 2018 Class 4A Girls Volleyball State Championships held in Fort Myers.

In what has become an annual match-up at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Miami Northwestern claimed their sixth football State Championship by blanking perennial power Armwood (Seffner) 22-0 in the 2018 Class 6A title game.

Gulliver Prep (Miami) outlasted defending champion Olympia (Orlando) 16-14 to claim the 2019 Boys Water Polo State Championship, the school's fourth title.

St. John Paul II (Tallahassee) executed an ESPN Sportscenter recognized top-10 play in the final second to defeat the defending champions Orlando Christian Prep in the 2019 Class 3A Boys Basketball State Championship Game.
