What are the new rules regarding arm compression sleeves?
Rule 3-5-3 now states that the compression sleeve must be white, black, beige or a single solid school color. They shall have only a single manufacturer’s logo that does not exceed 2¼ square inches, and they must be the same color for each team member. They need not be the same color as the headband/wristband color.
Is a doctor’s note required for each athlete wearing a shooting sleeve?
Yes. (FHSAA Ruling 3-5-2)
What is the official State Series game ball for girls and boys basketball?
The official ball for boy’s basketball shall be: The Spalding TF-1000 Legacy (Product number 74-7358)
The official ball for girl’s basketball shall be: The Spalding TF- 1000 Legacy (74-7168)

Can an Athlete play multiple levels on the same day, i.e. can an Athlete play on JV and Varsity on the same day?
No. Please see the following Policies:
6.3.3.3 Day – Cannot participate as member of varsity and sub-varsity teams on same day.
6.4.3.3 Day – Cannot participate as member of varsity and sub-varsity teams on same day.
Note: ALL games must be counted towards the Athlete week limit and season limit. For example, an athlete cannot play 3 JV games and 2 varsity games in one week. The athlete also cannot play 25 JV games and 6 Varity games.
Each athlete are allowed the following game limits:
Girls:
6.3.2 Contest Limitations.
6.3.2.1 Season – 25 games inclusive of all games played in tournaments.
6.3.2.2 School Week – 3 games, or 1 game and 1 tournament, provided total number of games in week does not exceed 4.
6.3.3 Individual Student Limitations.
6.3.3.1 Season – 25 games inclusive of all games played in tournaments.
6.3.3.2 School Week – 3 games, or 1 game and 1 tournament, provided total number of games in week does not exceed 4.
Boys:

How many adult sponsors of cheerleaders will be admitted free of charge to state series events?
A maximum of two (2) adult sponsors will admitted free of charge to state series events in which their schools team participates. (FHSAA Rule 3.-2.3.3.5)
