FHSAA seeks to fill the position of Executive Assistant for Athletics

The FHSAA is seeking a full-time, benefited Executive Assistant to serve Associate Executive Director and other administrators for the Department of Athletics. Duties include full charge secretarial support for the department administrators, clerical duties required by activities and functions of the workplace including composing, preparing and sending correspondence; keeping employee calendars, leave forms and payroll records; receiving and routing incoming/outgoing mail; setting up and maintaining files; preparing, processing and submitting reports, forms, records, minutes, guides, manuals and other assigned projects.

Requirements include high school diploma and five years of secretarial or full charge office clerical experience, administrative secretary experience preferred, 50 wpm typing skill, and computer proficiency. Associates degree or Bachelor degree will substitute year for year for up to four years of experience.  Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work well with the public, handle multiple tasks and deadlines, work well under pressure in a dynamic environment, and possess excellent time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and proficiency using Internet applications is essential.  Work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Application deadline is 5 p.m., June 2, 2017. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for June 21, 2017.  Start date goal is July 11, 2017.
