Belleview High School to Host 2017 Florida High School Girls Weightlifting State Championships

GAINESVILLE, FL (1/20/17) – The Florida High School Athletic Association announced Friday Belleview High School will host the 2017 Florida High School Girls Weightlifting State Championships Feb. 2-3 at the Belleview High School Gymnasium. The agreement is a one-year contract.
 
“We appreciate the hospitality Belleview High School has shown us and look forward to another great year of championship weightlifting,” FHSAA Executive Director Dr. Roger Dearing said. “The intimate environment will make for an intense and passionate atmosphere, similar to when West Port High School hosted volleyball this past November.”
 
General admission tickets will be sold at the door only for $9 (cash only). Parking will cost $10 per vehicle, with all proceeds going to the host. A full event schedule will be made available shortly at FHSAA.org.
