Softball state series date changes
There are changes to some important dates in softball in the orange calendar due to upcoming expected date changes in the softball state tournament. This will affect the softball state series and we wanted you to have this information going into planning meetings starting Tuesday, Sept. 4. Here are the changes. Saturday April 6, Week 40: Last date for district contests (all classes)
Monday April 8, Week 41: Official entry list due (all classes)
Saturday April 13, Week 41: Last date for regular season contests (all classes)
April 15-19, Week 42: District Tournaments (all classes)
Tuesday April 23, Week 43: Regional Quarterfinals (3A-5A-7A)
Wednesday April 24, Week 43: Regional Quarterfinals (2A-4A-6A-8A)
Thursday, April 25: Team data form and photos submitted to FHSAA from all Regional Quarterfinal winners
Friday April 26, Week 43: Regional Semifinals (all classes)
Tuesday April 30, Week 44: Regional Finals (all classes)
Thursday, May 2: Up-to-date stats submitted to FHSAA for all state semifinalists
May 6-14 or May 8-11, Week 45: State Finals (NOTE: Dates will be determined when a host site is selected)
