FHSAA extending deadline for accepting proposals to host softball finals in 2013, 2014 and 2015

Please be advised the proposal deadline has been extended to: Monday, September 17, 2012 at 5 p.m.
Additionally, the preferred State Championship Schedule that is included within the RFP has been revised due to scheduling issues with the overlap of State Championship Baseball. Therefore, one of the following options should be selected by any party wishing to submit a proposal:

Option 1:
May 8-11, 2013
May 7-10, 2014
May 6-9, 2015

With this option, you could feasibly host two (2) semifinal games at a time (2 fields, 8 games per day) on Wednesday and Friday and play the four (4) championship games at a stadium field on Thursday and Saturday. Championship games would be played one (1) game at a time.

Option 2:
May 6-14, 2013 (skip Sun., May 12)
May 5-13, 2014 (skip Sun., May 11)
May 4-12, 2015 (skip Sun., May 10)

With this option, you’d play one (1) game at a time. Semis (four (4) games per day) would be played on Mondays, Wednesday and Friday with Championships (two (2) games per day) on Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturday.
