FHSAA welcomes 12 new schools to the Association
At its year-end meeting on June 12, the Florida High School Athletic Association Board of Directors voted to admit 12 new schools into membership. The new high/combination schools are:
- Central Baptist (Brandon)
- Excelsior (Hialeah)
- Glendale Christian (Vero Beach)
- Legacy (Ocoee)
- SHIP Academy (Orlando)
- SLAM Academy (Miami)
- Solid Rock Christian (Miami)
The following middle/junior high schools have been added to membership:
- Duval Charter Middle (Jacksonville)
- Questa Middle (Davie)
- SKY Academy (Venice)
- Wakulla Springs Christian (Crawfordville)
- Winding Waters (Weeki Wachee)
The following schools are no longer members of the FHSAA:
- Ben Gamla (Plantation)
- Brevard Private (Merritt Island)
- Broach West (Jacksonville)
- Cassels Christian (Starke)
- Center of Life (Miami)
- Family Life (Archer)
- Forest Lake (Apopka)
- Heritage Academy (Bunnell)
- Innovation School (Tallahassee)
- School of Success (Jacksonville)
- Southland Christian (St. Cloud)
- St. Barnabas (DeLand)
- Steinhatchee School
- Westwood Hills (Gainesville)
The following schools have completed their provisional membership period and have been elevated to full member status:
