Ward elected, Colzie re-elected to Board of Directors after run-off elections
James Colzie, athletic director at Miami Christian School, was re-elected to a second term as the private school representative of Section 4 on the FHSAA Board of Directors during a run-off election that was held April 9 through 13. Randy Ward, the principal of Grand Ridge Middle School, was also elected to the Board of Directors as the public school representative of Section 1.
In other run-off elections, incumbents Tammy Talley (AD, Jacksonville-Mandarin High School), Lamarr Glenn (AD, Apopka-Wekiva High School) and Javan Turner (AD, St. Petersburg-Gibbs High School) were elected to serve their second terms on the Section Appeals Committee in Sections 1, 2 and 3, respectively, while in Section 4, Dianne Sanzari (AD, Coral Springs High School) returns to Section Appeal Committee she held from 2006 to 2009.
