Compliance seminars to be held at West Broward, Winter Springs

The FHSAA's annual compliance seminar has been announced. Winter Springs High School (Section 2) and West Broward High School (Pembroke Pines, Section 4) will serve as hosts.

The first seminar will take place at West Broward on Thursday, Aug. 9. The seminar at Winter Springs will take place the next day on Friday, Aug. 10.

For the first time ever there will be a reception hosted the night before at each location. Sagemont (Weston) and Orangewood Christian (Maitland) will be the hosts for their respective sections. The reception will be free for any attendees and their guests. It includes dinner and drinks. The FHSAA is hoping those at the reception will meet others from the region and talk about issues that affect their schools.  Those issues can be brought up the next day at the seminar, as there will be breakout sessions on the agenda.

Host hotels have also been announced

A survey will be sent to schools in Sections 2 and 4 shortly to ask for possible discussion topics and to register for the seminar. To find out about the seminar and those schools slated to attend, click on the link below.
