ATHLETIC SERVICES

Out-of-State Lacrosse Games – We have been receiving requests for FHSAA teams to play out-of-state teams. Please be advised that not every state association sanctions lacrosse as a varsity sport (Texas and Ohio are two examples). To be on the safe side, please e-mail Cristina Broska (cbroska [at] fhsaa [dot] org) the list of out-of-state opponents your teams will play this season.

Please review Bylaw 8.3.2.1 (page 23 of the FHSAA Handbook), and Policy 10.2.1(d) (page 62 of the FHSAA Handbook). The out-of-state teams must be members of their NFHS member or affiliate state association, and be in good standing with their association. If the state association does not offer lacrosse, it is considered a club team (Bylaw 8.5). If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Cristina.

Softball State Entry List – The state entry list for softball is due April 9. Please take note of this as it is not on the calendar.
