FHSAA Hall of Fame member Wayne Taylor passes away

Wayne Taylor, a founding father of the Florida Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (FIAAA) and FHSAA Hall of Famer, passed away early in the morning on Dec. 31. He was 74.

Taylor served as the athletic director at Miami Coral Park High School, Miami Palmetto Senior High School, and was the county AD for Miami-Dade County.  He served on the FHSAA Board of Directors in 1980 and was inducted in the Florida High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999.
