FHSAA and DiCesare-Winter Productions hosting public address announcer clinics Nov. 12 and Nov. 19
The Florida High School Athletic Association in conjunction with DiCesare-Winter Productions are hosting public address announcer's basketball clinics on the campuses of Dr. Phillips High School and Boca Raton High School. The clinic at Dr. Phillips is on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. while the clinic at Boca Raton is on Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The cost of either clinic is $99 and each will be conducted by Jeff Winter of DiCesare-Winter Productions, who has been the public address announcer at over 1,000 sporting events in the state of Florida ranging from the high school to professional level, including many district and regional basketball games for the FHSAA.
Attendees will receive a public address announcer's basketball handbook, an 80-song "clean" music playlist and a review of standard foul signals along with learning other important skills.
