Declarations of candidacy for officials advisory committee now available

Members of the FHSAA Officials Advisory Committee are officials who have been elected by their primary officials association.  The committee is composed of 28 members, one official from each administrative section in each of the seven sanctioned sports in which officials are registered by the FHSAA.  This committee meets annually to review the officials program and make recommendations for changes if any, to the FHSAA Board of Directors.

Candidates for election to the Officials Advisory Committee must be FHSAA officials in good standing, be registered in the same sport as the seat for which they are being nominated, and be nominated by their primary local officials association.  Each local officials association may nominate one official for each sport in which they are sanctioned by the FHSAA. 

The deadlines to apply are:
Fall sports: June 20, 2011
Winter sports: Sept. 1, 2011
Spring sports: Jan. 10, 2012
