FHSAA signs contract with C2C Schools

GAINESVILLE —The Florida High School Athletic Association is partnering with C2C Schools, LLC to provide a unique opportunity for its members.

C2C Schools is a web-based program, used to assist schools with everyday functions for its athletic programs. With the partnership, each member school will have a home page for its school, and numerous links for its sports teams. Schools also will have the ability to raise funds through this program by selling advertisements if desired.

"C2C Schools looks forward to a long lasting relationship with the FHSAA. I certainly believe this partnership  is a win-win for all schools across the state of Florida," said President of C2C Schools Robert Gomes.

Currently, schools with football programs are mandated by the FHSAA Board of Directors to use C2C Schools for eligibility and scheduling. Beginning July 1, 2010, schools will be required to use C2C Schools for eligibility obligations.

"The signing of the contract not only advances the FHSAA and member schools ito the technological age in terms of reporting eligibility, student-athlete information, and contest results, but it will also help the state of Florida stay green by not using paper," said FHSAA Executive Director Roger Dearing.
