FHSAA, Allstate Insurance partner to promote basketball
GAINESVILLE The Florida High School Athletic Association has reached an agreement with Allstate Insurance Company to be the title sponsor of the "Allstate FHSAA Basketball Finals" state girls & boys championship tournaments and the "Allstate 3-Point Showdown" statewide 3-point shooting competition, the FHSAA Office announced today.
Allstate joins Dodge, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, The United States Marine Corps, Pinch a Penny, Nike and Gatorade as corporate partners of the Association. Other sponsors include Spalding, Brine, Wilson, Mikasa, Sun Sports, Bryn Alan Photography and Team IP Sportswear.
“We are elated to have Allstate come in and help us promote high school basketball and all of our sports,” said FHSAA Executive Director John A. Stewart. “The revenues derived from corporate sponsorships permit the FHSAA to improve and expand the services it provides to its more than 740 member schools and the student-athletes who represent them.”
“For 68 years now Allstate has supported the Florida community and the people we serve. We are proud this rich tradition will continue with the Florida High School Athletic Association” said Phil Lawson, Field Vice President of the Florida Region.
Youth Sports Marketing LLC, the exclusive marketing agency for the FHSAA, negotiated the agreement. Randy Younker, Director of Sales, handled the negotiations.
