FHSAA Cross Country Finals to remain at Little Everglades Ranch
GAINESVILLE The 2007 and 2008 FHSAA Cross Country Finals will be held at Little Everglades Ranch near Dade City, the FHSAA Office announced today. The ranch has been the site of the event for the past two years.
The Pasco County School District will assist with hosting the event.
"We are happy to continue our relationship with Little Everglades Ranch," said Commissioner John A. Stewart. "There is no more beautiful venue in the state for this event."
The dates for the event are Nov. 17, 2007 and Nov. 22, 2008.
Other organizations submitting proposals to host the 2007 and 2008 cross country finals were the Central Florida Sports Commission at the National Training Center in Clermont, Hillsborough County Public Schools for Ed Radice Athletic Complex, the Lee County Sports Authority at Estero Community Park, and Westminster Academy at Markham Park in western Broward County.

The Florida High School Athletic Association is the governing body for interscholastic athletics in Florida. It has a membership of more than 700 middle and high schools, and sponsors postseason competitions to determine the official state high school champions in 28 different sports.
