Third episode of Dodge High School Sports Report airs Tuesday

GAINESVILLE – The Dodge High School Sports Report crew traveled over 2000 miles going from the Treasure Coast to Lakeland, from Dade City to Orange Park to cover the Fall Sports Championships like no one else can. The show airs tonight (Tuesday, Nov. 22) at midnight on Sun Sports.

Coverage includes:

• Highlights from the 2005 FHSAA Golf Finals, as Jason Alpert has the story, including an exciting two-hole playoff in 1A girls and a one-hole playoff in 2A girls.

• Highlights from the 2005 FHSAA Cross Country Finals, where Christina Vitale catches up with the runners and interviews all eight winners.

• Highlights from the 2005 FHSAA Fall Soccer Finals, where John Dunlap covers the action as St. John's Country Day gets the benefit of a square post.

• Highlights from the 2005 FHSAA Girls Volleyball Finals with Bernie Guenther.

In other features, James Bates will show you why Ocala Trinity Catholic may be a dominating football program for at least a couple of more years.

Jason Alpert has the story of a young golfer who gave up a $300,000 pay day last year in an effort to help her team win a state title this year. Morgan Pressel won the Class 1A girls title in a 2-hole playoff and turned pro the day after the FHSAA Golf Finals this year.

Lastly, we'll take a look at the aftermath of Hurricane Wilma, and the havoc it brought to the high school sports season in Southeast Florida.
