Track & field finals return to Coral Springs; flag football finals back at Spanish River

GAINESVILLE – The FHSAA Track & Field Finals state championship meet will return to Coral Springs High School for the 2005 and 2006 seasons, the FHSAA Office announced today.

The dates for this year's event are April 29 & 30 and May 6 & 7. The track & field finals previously were held in Coral Springs in 2001 and 2002.

Meanwhile, the 2005 FHSAA Flag Football Finals state championship tournament once again will be held at Spanish River High School in Boca Raton. The two-day tournament will be played May 6 & 7.

The Florida High School Athletic Association is the governing body for interscholastic athletic competition in Florida. It has a membership of more than 740 middle and senior high schools.
