WHHZ 100.5 FM The Buzz named flagship station of 2003 FHSAA Football Finals Radio Network

GAINESVILLE – WHHZ 100.5 FM “The Buzz” in Gainesville will broadcast live all seven championship games in the 2003 FHSAA Football Finals presented by Dodge, according to station manager Eric Jewell.

WHHZ will be the flagship station of the FHSAA Radio Network, originating each broadcast from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on the campus of the University of Florida, the site of this year’s finals. In addition, all seven games will be broadcast on the internet, available at FHSAA.org and Florida.iHigh.com.

Veteran broadcasters Steve Berrey and Austin Lyon will share the play-by-play duties. Local head coaches will provide color commentary with sideline reports also available.

Fans attending the 2003 FHSAA Football Finals are encouraged to bring their radio headsets and listen to the play-by-play, color commentary and sideline reports as they watch the game.

The Florida High School Athletic Association is the governing body for interscholastic athletic competition in Florida. It has a membership of 700 middle and senior high schools and conducts state series to determine the official state champions in 26 girls and boys sports.
