New season of FHSAA Sports Report underway
JACKSONVILLE The FHSAA SPORTS REPORT Presented by Dodge makes its season premiere on Tuesday, September 16 at 6:30 p.m. on Sunshine Network. The FHSAA SPORTS REPORT Presented by Dodge is the official magazine show of the Florida High School Athletic Association.
This episode on the FHSAA SPORTS REPORT Presented by Dodge, Jason Alpert shows us how Everglades High School builds its athletic program from the ground up. Eric Keaton visits with Land OLakes All-State quarterback and FSU commitment Drew Weatherford. Mike Ridaught is in Gainesville where he tells us if the P.K. Yonge girls volleyball team can capture its third state title in four years with its third coach. Ridaught also introduces us to this years inductees into the Florida High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Ryan Asselta tells us about two cousins from Germany who try football for the first time, and Lisa Pride is in South Florida taking a closer look at last years Pinch-A-Penny Female Swimmer of the Year, Rhi Jeffrey.
Bernie Guenther, back for his second season as host, takes a look at a father-son officials crew at an FHSAA football officials field clinic in Tampa. The first episode will also kick off a series of features on members of the 2003 FHSAA Academic All-State Team.
The FHSAA SPORTS REPORT Presented by Dodge, a one-hour show, will see a total of 12 episodes are for the 2003-04 academic year.
