Beef O'Brady's High School Football Scoreboard Show kicks off 2003 season in Cocoa
JACKSONVILLE The 2003 high school football season kicks off this weekend and fans across the state will have an opportunity to hear scores and provide insight of all the games this season on the Beef O'Bradys High School Football Scoreboard.
The iHigh Florida Road Tour begins this Friday when the Beef OBradys High School Football Scoreboard originates from the Palm Bay-Rockledge game. The store is located at 2301 State Road 524, Suite 175, in Cocoa.
The only statewide high school football call-in program returns on 25 radio stations throughout Florida. For 14 consecutive weeks, the Beef OBradys High School Football Scoreboard will tour the state for the Game-of-the-Week, as part of the iHigh Florida Road Tour. Beef OBradys Family Sports Pubs will also be the presenting sponsor of the Beef OBradys Top 25 -- the only all-classification Top 25 in Florida.
Beef OBradys has more than 100 Family Sports Pubs and each store is actively involved with schools in their neighborhood, said Ken Hall, Vice President of Marketing for Family Sports Concepts, Inc., the franchiser of Beef OBradys Family Sports Pubs. Our new association with the state-wide Beef OBradys High School Football Scoreboard makes perfect sense for our community-oriented family sports concept. Were excited about our involvement.
Host Steve Berrey will originate the show each Friday night from 10 p.m. to midnight at a neighborhood Beef OBradys store closest to the game.
Were excited about it and look forward to a good working relationship with Beef O Bradys, said Berrey, entering his 14th season as the host of the show. Its going to be interesting to sit and talk with the fans at the game and fans throughout the state.
The Beef OBradys High School Football Scoreboard will also be broadcast world wide on the web at Florida.iHigh.com. Fans can call in their scores at 1-888-407-2673.
Returning as a sponsor of the tour is the United States Marine Corps. The Marines will be running an interactive display at each game and talking to students and parents about the opportunities to become one of the few -- the proud. Berreys daughter is a Marine who just returned from Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq and Kuwait.
The Marines are back this year and as a Marine parent, I can tell you that the change is forever, said Berrey. My daughter has more confidence and self-esteem.
