Advisory committees have been established in sport by the FHSAA Board of Directors. Each advisory committee is comprised of eight head coaches – two coaches from each of the Association's four administrative sections. Each committee meets annually to review the guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures governing its sport, and to make recommendations to the Board of Directors for changes in those rules. The committees, in and of themselves, have no rules-making authority.

The meeting dates for the five spring sports advisory committee meetings are: Baseball, Aug. 25; Softball, Aug. 24; Tennis, Aug. 26; Track & Field, Aug. 25; and Weightlifting, Aug. 24. All meetings will be held in the FHSAA Office in Gainesville.

Committee members will be advised as to the exact time of their meetings by mail.

Agendas for each meeting will be available on the FHSAA web site in advance of the meeting.

The Florida High School Activities Association is the governing body for interscholastic athletics in Florida. The FHSAA currently has a membership of 616 schools.
