FHSAA to hold hearing on Miami High School investigation

GAINESVILLE – FHSAA Commissioner Ron Davis will hold a hearing on Thursday, July 30, to review the findings of the Association’s investigation into allegations of rules violations by the Miami High School athletic program.

The hearing will begin at 10 a.m. EDT and will be held at the FHSAA Office at 515 North Main Street in Gainesville. The hearing is open to the public. Reporters are welcome to attend the hearing. However, due to space constraints, television cameras will not be permitted in the hearing room.

During the hearing, Commissioner Davis will review the findings of the investigation conducted by Deputy Commissioner Ron Allen earlier this summer.

Miami High School Principal Victor Lopez and other school representatives will be present to respond to the findings and to offer testimony to refute the allegations.
