5. Review 2001-02 FHSAA Track & Field Manual

6. Review NFHS National Council Meeting 2002 pole vault transitions

7. FACA recommendations:

a. All events at state meet must be officiated by certified officials with at least one FHSAA certified official at each event

b. FHSAA will use official entry lists as criteria for counting number of track & field teams for classification purposes

c. No high school student may work at any regional meet or state meet in an official capacity

d. The surface for the site of all regional meets should be synthetic or rubber

e. The host school for a regional meet is responsible to provide a certified athletic trainer or medical staff
