Officials Rules Presentation
Please note that online rules presentations will not be given for either contest officials or coaches begining 2012-13 school year.
Officials Online Testing
Officials Tests are mandatory, and must also be completed during a required time frame (schedule). There are three options for taking the officials exam online
- Closed Book Exam - This is the most popular exam. Successfully passing this exam gives the official rights to officiate any game assigned. The closed book exam is a timed test, with the time limit being 50 minutes.
- Open Book Exam - The open book exam is untimed, and the official is allowed to have the rules book present for the test. Officials who take the open book exam are only eligible to officiate regular season.
- Make-Up Exam - If the official has missed the closed book or open book exams, or scored less than a 75%, they may take the make-up exam. The make-up exam is a timed test, with the time limit being 50 minutes. If the official has previously received less than a 75% on an earlier exam, the score for the make-up exam will be capped at 75%.
