Inaugural FHSAA Coaches Education Program now available
The FHSAA is proud to announce the adoption of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Fundamentals of Coaching and the American Red Cross Sports Safety Course. These courses have been developed for the interscholastic coaches in Florida. This approach to coach education has been adopted by our state for its versatility and unique approach providing the most comprehensive student-centered coaching curriculum in the country.
To use the FHSAA online Coaches Education program, click on one of the nfhslearn.com logos. The Fundamentals Course costs $50, while the ARC Sports Safety Course is $45. Each coach will pay by credit card through a secure site.
Information regarding a blended version of the Fundamentals Course will be sent to member school principals and athletic directors during the summer months. Note: The ARC Sports Safety Course is only available as an online course. Additional sport specific courses will be available during the 2007-08 school year and beyond.
