2008-09 FHSAA Academic All-State Team nomination forms available
Nominations must be postmarked by March 2
Nomination forms for the 2008-09 FHSAA Academic All-State Team are available for download in Microsoft Word format. The nomination process takes place through each school’s administration (principal/athletic director/FHSAA representative). Each school may nominate one male and one female student-athlete who meet the following requirements: (1) must be a graduating senior; (2) must have at least a 3.5 unweighted cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale; and (3) must have earned a varsity letter in at least two sports in each of his/her junior and senior years. School personnel can access the nomination forms through the "Download Secure Forms" section of iFHSAA (the Association's interactive online database). Nominations must be postmarked not later than Monday, March 2, 2009 in order to be considered. The selection committees meet in mid-April, with the team being announced in late April. The banquet is Thursday, June 4 at the Orlando Airport Marriott, where the Male and Female Scholar-Athletes of the Year will be announced. Questions? Call the Communications Department at ext. 170.
