Somerset Prep (North Lauderdale) claimed the school's first ever girls basketball title with a 70-34 victory over Orlando Christian Prep during the 2018 Class 3A Girls Basketball State Championships.

The 2017 Class 4A Football State Championship belongs to Raines (Jacksonville) after they defeated the defending state champion Cocoa, 13-10 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

Cardinal Gibbons (Fort Lauderdale) defeated Celebration 3-1 to claim the 2018 Florida High School Boys Volleyball State Championship, the school's second ever title in the sport.

Bolles (Jacksonville) upended defending champion Oxbridge Academy (West Palm Beach) 4-0 to claim the 2018 Class 2A Soccer State Championship at the event held in DeLand.

In a rematch of the previous year, Robinson (Tampa) once again defeated Miami Edison to claim their fourth state title in flag football. The 2018 Class 1A Championship Game was held at Boca Raton High School.

Canterbury (Fort Myers) goes back-to-back in 2017 and claims their school's second baseball state championship by shutting down University Christian (Jacksonville) 4-1.

First Academy (Orlando) claimed its first ever team championship by pulling away from defending champion Lake Mary Prep in the Class 1A Girls Golf State Championships from the Mission Inn & Resort in Howie-in-the-Hills.

Winter Park outpaced the field en route to its sixth title at the 2017 Girls Class 4A Cross Country State Championship event. Baile Hertenstein of Newsome (Lithia) took home the individual title.
