Competition at the 2016 Girls Track & Field State Championships from IMG Academy. Miami Northwestern ran away with the team title in Class 3A.

Conner Allshouse of Indian Rocks Christian scored a 3-2 decision in winning the 2016 Wrestling State Championships Class 1A state title in the 182-pound class. Lake Highland Prep (Orlando) won the team title for the fourth time in five years.

P.K. Yonge (Gainesville) concluded a dominant season with a 3-0 win over Palmer Trinity and a top-10 national ranking at the 2015 Class 3A Girls Volleyball State Championship in Orlando.
