The 2016 Class 4A Football State Championship belongs to Cocoa after defeating Bolles (Jacksonville) 31-17 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. Cocoa earned their fourth football state championship in program history.

University Christian (Jacksonville) defeated Champagnat (Hialeah) 24-8 to claim the 2A State Championship during the 2016 event at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

West Shore (Melbourne) defeated Berkeley Prep (Tampa) 1-0 to claim their second boys soccer title in school history at the Class 2A 2017 Boys Soccer State Championships in DeLand.

Nease (Ponte Vedra) captures the first baseball championship in school history after defeating King (Tampa) 11-0 in Class 7A action at the 2017 state championships.

Westminster Christian (Miami) defeated Lake Highland Prep (Orlando) in a five-set match to claim the 2016 Class 5A Girls Volleyball State Championship during the event in Ocala.

With a 75-43 victory over Edgewater (Orlando), Dillard (Fort Lauderdale) claimed their seventh boys basketball state championship in history by taking home the 2017 Class 7A title.

In their first state title game appearance since 2004, Fort Myers defeated Niceville 7-1 to claim the 2017 Class 7A crown and the school's first ever softball state championship.

Jones (Orlando) out-dueled Florida High (Tallahassee) 56-44 to capture the school's third girls' basketball title in their history and claim the 2017 Class 5A crown.

Winter Haven goes back to back after coming away with the Class 8A girls basketball title over South Broward (Hollywood) 72-65 during the 2017 state championships. They won the Class 7A title in 2016.
