Lourdes (Miami) finally broke through against defending champion Oviedo, defeating them 1-0 to claim the 2018 Class 5A Girls Soccer State Championship at Spec Martin Stadium in DeLand.

In a highly defensive game, Dr. Phllips (Orlando) avenged its 2016 runner-up finish and edged out Atlantic (Delray Beach) 17-7 to claim the school's first ever football state title during the 2017 championship event held at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

John Carroll (Fort Pierce) claimed the school's second softball state championship with a 4-1 victory over Lakeland Christian in the 2017 Class 3A title game in Vero Beach.

With a 43-38 victory over Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach) in the 2018 Class 7A title game, Doral claimed the school's first ever Boys Basketball State Championship.
