Olympia (Orlando) avenged a runner-up finish from the previous year and took down Gulliver Prep (Miami) 7-4 to claim the 2017 Girls Water Polo State Championship.

Oak Hall (Gainesville) captured the 2016 Class 1A Girls Track & Field State Championship by scoring 93 team points at IMG Academy in Bradenton.

Trinity Christian (Jacksonville) upended Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood) 24-13 to earn the 2016 Class 3A Football State Championship at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

Lessburg captured the 2017 Class 6A boys basketball state title, third in school history, with a 57-53 victory over Mariner (Cape Coral) in the championship game.

Boca Raton defeated Oviedo to claim the first ever FHSAA Class 9A Girls Volleyball State Championship during the 2016 event at West Port High School in Ocala.

Bishop Moore (Orlando) brought home the crown in Class 6A for the fifth time in program history during the 2016 Girls Volleyball State Championships at West Port High School in Ocala.

Jones (Orlando) out-dueled Florida High (Tallahassee) 56-44 to capture the school's third girls' basketball title in their history and claim the 2017 Class 5A crown.

Archbishop McCarthy (Southwest Ranches) captures its sixth title in seven years with a 10-4 victory over Mosley at the 2016 Class 5A state baseball championships in Fort Myers.

Westminster Academy (Fort Lauderdale) brought home their second boys basketball title with a 57-43 victory over Providence (Jacksonville) in the 2017 Class 4A state championship.
